Terms of participation in the gardening competition 2014

GENERAL COMPETITION TERMS

• A contestant (company), willing to take part in the competition, shall fill in the application form on the official website of MOSCOW FLOWER SHOW-2014 − http://flowershowmoscow.ru/.

• A contestant (company) can fill in only one application for participation in the competition.

• The qualifying contestants (companies) are permitted to take part in the contest.

• No fees are required to participate in the contest qualification round.

• The contest is open to architects, landscape architects, designers, decorators, artists, plant breeders, nursery gardeners, producers of garden goods, who are at least 18 years old (except for the special contest “Children’s Garden”).

• The Expert panel of the festival Organizing committee shall select qualification winners.

• Information about the qualified participants will be posted on the festival website. The qualification winner will be notified via email or by phone.

• To participate in the contest, a qualified contestant (company) should sign a contract and pay the fee.

• The organizer shall not be liable for incomplete or incorrect information provided by a contestant (company).

• The contest organizer reserves the right not to enter into any written or oral negotiations regarding the contest results and the resolutions taken by the Expert panel and Festival Organizing Committee.

• The organizer reserves the right to amend the terms hereof.

Gardens of Russia - 100 sq.m.

Heritage Gardens - 25 sq.m., 50 sq.m.

City Garden - 25 sq.m., 50 sq.m.

Country Garden - 25 sq.m., 50 sq.m.

 

SPECIAL CONTESTS AT MOSCOW FLOWER SHOW 2014:

Urban Vertical Garden - up to 25 sq.m.

Land Art - up to 25 sq.m.

New Names - up to 25 sq.m.

Children’s Garden - up to 25 sq.m.

 

CONTEST documentation:

• A standard contest application form;

• A short explanatory note to the project with a detailed description of the garden concept, as well as the information about the author or the company presenting the project;

• A garden layout in scale М1:100, М1:200 indicating all types of coatings, list of plants, including the following parameters: for trees − the height and girth of a tree stem, for flowers − container volume (liters) and decorative elements. Please indicate the highest point of the project (architectural forms should not be higher than 3 m);

• An object visualization: - 3D Visualization (manual or computer graphics) at least in two foreshortenings.
  
   

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO CONTEST DOCUMENTATION:

• A brief project description in a .DOC file, prepared with Microsoft Word text editor;

• An electronic version of the project master plan, in a .JPEG file with a 300 dpi resolution.
  
   

Participation FEES FOR qualified PARTICIPANTS:

For gardens:

25 sq.m. - 700 euro

50 sq.m.  - 1000 euro

100 sq.m. - 1700 euro

 

Participation FEE INCLUDES:

• General organizational services for the festival (security and territory cleaning).

• Information support for the participants: listing the participant details in the catalog, on the official website and in the festival’s web pages in the social networks, mentioning in the materials of the festival media partners.

• Invitation cards to the gala opening and gala closing.

• Participation in the festival Business Program.

• Assistance in the organization of business meetings with potential partners and clients in the festival area — in special VIP zones (by prior request and upon approval of the project curator).

• Personal manager to accompany the participant during the festival.

• Participation in press conferences, business events and special programs of the festival.

• An exclusive photo project by famous photo artists.

• Special prizes and awards from festival partners.

The location of a participant is determined at the discretion of the organizing committee, with consideration for the garden concept and the best way to reveal its beauty.

The date and time of the general working meeting of all the contest participants in the park territory with a representative of the festival organizing committee in charge of the contest, will be notified on the website. There is a possibility to arrange an online conference for foreign participants
