Landscape designer Chris Beardshaw will creat garden for physically challenged children in Gorky Park. This project is being realized within the framework of Moscow Flower Show in June in Moscow.
Designer noticed that his garden will comprise exclusively midland plants. When the Show closes its doors the garden will move onto the territory of Moscow Child Care Home by Scientific-Practical Center of Child Neurology where autist children, children with ICP and Down syndrome are under medical treatment. The Garden is planned to be renewed annually, children themselves will take care of it that will help them to recover.
Festival Moscow Flower Show will open on the18th of June. One of the purposes declared by the Organizers is to build a platform, which will help to attract attention to charity and social problems.

From 18 till 23, June in Gorky Park for the second time already will be held Flower Show: time for rose installations and fashionable clothes show decorated with violas. Today it was announced that one of the show participants – English gardener Chris Beardshaw – will make a garden for physically challenged children with all the special conditions which will help them to spend time in comfortable surroundings. Chris will use exclusively midland plants. The garden will occupy the site specially granted for it by the Scientific-Practical Center of Child Neurology. When the weather conditions allow children will take care for flowers and plants in it – it will help them in the process of rehabilitation.

Esplanade will be redesigned within the framework of Festival Moscow Flower Show 2013 which will take place in Moscow in Gorky Park from 18 to 23, June.
Leading Russian and International landscape designers will create gardens at Moscow Flower Show. Famous English Gardener Chris Bearshaw will make an English garden using exclusively midland plants. It’s worth noticing that Chris Beardshaw has 16 medals of Royal Horticultural Society as well as People’s Choice Award at Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court.
“Landscape architecture and design stars’ from Russia, Great Britain, France and Italy participation in gardens competition attracts attention of specialists and amateurs. Also it’s important to pay attention to the fact that in Russia 2013 was announced as the year of ecology, that is why one of the main aims of the Festival is to promote aesthetic and ecological transformation of the environment”, - says President of the Festival Organizing Committee Karina Lazareva.
Interesting cultural program is made especially for amateurs and specialists and consists of educating seminars and master classes in the field of gardening and landscape design.
